KALTENG - Head of the Class II Tamiang Layang Detention Center, Surya Dharma confirmed that his party had again opened face-to-face visit services to inmates or inmates.

"The face-to-face visit service has not been implemented for approximately two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. That applies to all detention centers in Indonesia," said Surya Dharma in Tamiang Layang, East Barito Regency, Central Kalimantan (Kalteng), quoted from Antara, Wednesday July 13th.

Even so, every visitor who gets a face-to-face visit service is required to implement a health protocol, and undergo a mechanism as per the latest regulations according to the Circular Letter of the Directorate General of Corrections (Dirjen PAS) Number PAS-12.HH01.02 of 2022 concerning adjustment of the mechanism to face-to-face visit services. in prisons and prisons throughout Indonesia.

The regulations that apply include the family and the WBP who must have been vaccinated against COVID-19 until stage three or a booster vaccine. Vaccination status can be shown by showing a vaccination card or using the PeduliLindung application will be applied.

"In the Circular of the Director General of PAS it also explains that visits are only applied to nuclear families such as relatives, mothers, children and wives. The visiting schedule is as usual, namely on weekdays," said Surya Dharma.

He explained, first of all, visitors must comply with the health protocol, then check the administration and health screening at the One Stop Service (PTSP) of Class II Tamiang Layang Rutan.

Then, visitors who meet the requirements are allowed to enter the sterilization room that has been prepared in front of the entrance in the detention room with the aim of avoiding the virus on the body and sterile visitor clothes from the virus.

After entering, visitors enter the detention room and carry out an inspection of their luggage. After the inspection of goods is completed, visitors can meet the WBP.

"Visitors who cannot visit face to face can get online visiting services or video calls," said Surya.
