Bogor Regent Ade Yasin Charged With Giving Rp1.9 Billion To 4 BPK Employees For WTP

BANDUNG - The inactive Bogor Regent Ade Yasin was accused by the Corruption Eradication Commission Prosecutors of giving bribes of Rp.

KPK prosecutor Budiman Abdul Karib said the bribes were given to four employees of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) who have also become suspects in the case.

"So it is seen as an act of continuing to give or promise something, namely giving money in the total amount of Rp. 1,935,000,000 to civil servants or state administrators," Budiman said at the Bandung District Court, Bandung City, West Java, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 13.

The prosecutor alleges that the bribes were given in stages over the period from October 2021 to 2022. The bribes given ranged from Rp. 10 million to Rp. 100 million, based on the request of the KPK employee.

According to the Prosecutor, Ade prepared the money for the bribe together with his subordinates within the Bogor Regency Government. Among them are Ihsan Ayatullah as an official at the Bogor Regency Government BPKAD, Maulana Adam as the Secretary for PUPR Bogor Regency, and Rizki Taufik Hidayat as a Commitment Making Officer at the Bogor Regency PUPR Service.

Prosecutors said the money that Ade Yasin and his men had collected came from a number of regional work units in the Bogor Regency Government.

"These include the PUPR Service, Health Office, Education Office, BAPPEDA, Ciawi Hospital, Cibinong Hospital and also contractors working on projects within the Bogor Regency Government," he said.

The prosecutor explained that Ade Yasin directed that the LKPD FY 2021 should get a WTP opinion like the previous year. This is because the LKPD FY 2021 is considered very bad by BPK employees and has the potential to be a disclaimer.

"The opinion of the WTP is one of the requirements that must be met by the Bogor Regency Government to obtain the Regional Incentive Fund (DID) from the APBN," said the prosecutor.

In this case, Ade was charged with Article 5 Paragraph 1 letter a and Article 13 of UURI Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by UURI Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to UURI Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 Paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 64 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.

2. Arko Mulawan as Head of the Bogor Regency Interim Audit Team
