For The Fourth Time Examining Ex And ACT President, Bareskrim Starts Focusing On Using Donation Funds

JAKARTA - The former president of the charity Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT), Ahyudin and Ibnu Khajar, were questioned again today for the alleged misappropriation of aid for the victims of the Lion Air JT-610 crash which was investigated by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Police. The inspection is also said to have started to lead to the use of donated funds.

"Ahyudin's interrogation is at 1 and Ibnu Khajar at 3," said Head of Sub-Directorate 4 of the Directorate of Special Economic Crimes at the National Police's Criminal Investigation Department, Kombes Andri Sudarmaji, to VOI, Wednesday, July 13.

The examination for the fourth time in a row, said Andri, is no longer about the legality of charitable foundations. Instead, it leads to the use of donated funds received by ACT.

"It's been to the core material such as the use of funds and others," said Andri.

Ahyudin and Ibn Khajar had originally been examined in a marathon four days ago or starting from Friday, July 8th.

During the first and second day of investigation, Ahyudin said the police were still investigating the legality of the foundation.

Then, on the third day, the former ACT President did not explain about the examination material. Instead, he said he was ready to be sacrificed or sacrificed in this case.

"By Allah, yes, I am ready to sacrifice or be sacrificed," said Ahyudin.

As for Ibn Khajar, during the series of examinations he often did not provide comments to the media.

Meanwhile, the assistance fund was provided by the ACT Foundation management. This deviation occurred during the distribution of aid to the heirs of the victims of the Lion Air JT-610 plane crash that occurred in 2018.

The alleged deviation was said to have been made by former ACT President Ahyudin and ACT President Ibnu Khajar. They are suspected of using aid funds for personal gain.

In fact, the status of the handling of this case has been upgraded from investigation to investigation. That way, sooner or later a suspect will be identified.
