PDAM Official In Solo Involved In Child Abuse, Gibran Ensures Case Is Processed By Police

SOLO - The Mayor of Solo, Central Java, Gibran Rakabuming Raka asked the police to investigate the alleged molestation case by PDAM Toya Wening Solo official.

"It has been processed by the Chief of Police. I have submitted the legal matter to the Chief of Police," said Gibran in Solo, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, July 12.

He also emphasized that there must be legal assistance for victims, especially those who are underage.

"What is clear is that as the Mayor of Solo, the PDAM leaders and the Supervisory Board take immediate action as soon as the report is received. I also appreciate the victims who dared to speak up," he said.

Regarding the PDAM Toya Wening Solo official, according to him, he is no longer on duty.

"We immediately followed up (follow up), it is clear that the person concerned is no longer on duty, the next process we will convey to the authorities. In accordance with the GMS (general meeting of shareholders) yesterday," he said.

Meanwhile, he said, the official previously served as the Technical Director of PDAM Toya Wening Solo. Currently, the position is vacant and has been temporarily replaced by President Director Agustan.

Meanwhile, the President Director of PDAM Toya Wening, Solo City, Agustan, confirmed this case. He said that currently the person concerned has been dismissed.

"It's been dismissed, finally sanctioned. No (many) comments are allowed, later (I) will be scolded by the Guardian," he said.
