JAKARTA - Candidate for the Mayor of Surabaya, Eri Cahyadi, explained a series of programs for the City of Surabaya if elected in the regional elections. From scholarships, health services to ensuring the happiness of Surabaya City residents is a priority.

"We will provide scholarships, we also create BPJS (for) all residents of Surabaya for free medical treatment. At the RW hall (made) a tutoring place. There we will show (in favor of) millennials. For us, millennials who are the nation's successors are not only thinking (becoming) employees but entrepreneurs, "said Eri Cahyadi in the Surabaya Pilkada debate broadcast on Youtube KPU Surabaya, Wednesday, November 4.

Eri emphasized that when people are proud of their city, it is proven that they are satisfied with the City Government services. The candidate number 1 who was promoted by PDI Perjuangan said that the level of satisfaction of Surabaya residents reached 92 percent.

"It means that people are happy to live in Surabaya," said Eri.

"Surabaya will jump higher if we are given the people's trust," added Eri Cahyadi.

When Eri Cahyadi spoke, his running mate for deputy mayor, Armudji raised a number of papers and showed them to the audience. This paper strengthens the concept and development growth of the city of Surabaya.

Meanwhile, candidate number 2 for Surabaya mayor Machfud Arifin said that Surabaya's condition could not be claimed to be good. Because from the results of his blusukan, Machfud found different facts from Eri Cahyadi's explanation regarding the development of the City of Surabaya.

“I have spent 10 months in villages. Why do 1000 awards if the people suffer? There are still many, slum neighborhoods, haven't you touched the north? Surabaya is not only in the heart of the city protocol. Entering the village, we see that what has to be changed, Surabaya has to upgrade, it can't be like this, "Machfud Arifin said.

Meanwhile, his running mate for deputy mayor, Mujiaman, emphasized the concept of urban development starting from villages in Surabaya.
