JAKARTA - PT Transport Jakarta (Transjakarta) has arrested a mysterious man who often roams around public transportation modes such as KRL and Transjakarta. This man was caught masturbating at the KRL Commuter Line.

Today, a netizen reported that the man was at one of the Transjakarta bus stops via his social media. After being followed up, Transjakarta finally secured him at the Grogol Bus Stop, West Jakarta while using Transjakarta services.

"This security success is the result of the alertness of the Transjakarta Security Team following up on public reports on social media," said Head of the Transjakarta Corporate Secretary Division, Anang Rizkani Noor in his statement, Friday, July 8.

When arrested, the mysterious man was not carrying out any lewd acts. However, with the consideration of the growing concern of the passengers, Transjakarta decided to secure and conduct interrogations on him.

Currently, the man is in the process of being handed over to the police for further action.

Anang said that Transjakarta does not tolerate any form of disturbing and disturbing customer safety and comfort.

"Transjakarta will prevent entry and use Transjakarta facilities for people suspected of having taken actions that interfere with customer safety and comfort," said Anang.

As is known, on April 29, the owner of the Twitter account @HumanBiawak uploaded a video of a mysterious man masturbating inside the KRL. This upload was widely discussed by other netizens.

KAI Commuter Line security officers had arrested the perpetrators while at Parung Panjang Station at that time.

Then, in the future, perpetrators will often roam around Transjakarta bus stops and buses. Netizens are also worried about the presence of the perpetrators and worried that their actions will be repeated.

A Transjakarta user named Ridha Intifadha admitted that he saw the perpetrator on the Transjakarta bus route Pasar Baru-Kalideres. He asked Transjakarta to prohibit the perpetrator from becoming a passenger because the perpetrator deliberately stood near the female passenger area.

"Why is he so in Transjakarta Pasar Baru - Kalideres? Then he deliberately stands near the women's seating area as well. Please min @PT_Transjakarta if there are people, this should not be allowed to enter," said Ridha on the Twitter account @RidhaIntifadha on Thursday, July 7th.

Ridha's tweet was responded to by a number of other netizens. Apparently, many netizens also saw the perpetrators roaming the bus stop and other Transjakarta buses on the route. They expressed worry and felt insecure in the same place as the perpetrator.
