Had Issued Permit For ACT Activities Until 2024, DKI Provincial Government Conducted Evaluation

JAKARTA - Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Investment and One Stop Service (DPMPTSP), Benni Aguscandra, admitted that the DKI Provincial Government had issued a permit for operational activities at the Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) agency.

The operating activity permit from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is issued in a letter numbered 155/F 3/31.74.04.1003/-1.848/e/2019 which is valid until February 25, 2024.

"The permit is issued by PTSP in the form of a register of social foundations and a permit for foundation activities," said Benni in a short message, Thursday, July 7.

Then, along with allegations of misappropriation of community funds by ACT officials, Benni admitted that his party was currently evaluating the permit for the donation-collecting agency's activities.

Benni revealed that the evaluation was carried out by several related regional work units (SKPD), one of which was the Social Service (Dinsos).

"We are coordinating with the related SKPD. The evaluation process is carried out by the related SKPD," said Benni.

Meanwhile, yesterday the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) revoked the permit for the Implementation of the Collection of Money and Goods (PUB) that had been given to the Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) Foundation for 2022, due to an alleged violation of regulations by the Foundation.

The revocation was stated in the Decree of the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Number 133/HUK/2022 dated July 5, 2022 regarding the revocation of the permit to collect donations to the Aksi Cepat Tanggap Foundation in South Jakarta which was signed by the Ad Interim Minister of Social Affairs Muhadjir Effendi, Tuesday, July 5.

For information, Muhadjir who is also Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture temporarily replaces Social Minister Tri Rismaharini who performs the pilgrimage.

"So the reason we revoke it is because there are indications of violations of the Minister of Social Affairs Regulation until later waiting for the results of the inspection from the Inspectorate General, there will be further sanctions provisions," said Ad Interim Minister of Social Affairs Muhadjir Effendi in a written statement received Wednesday, July 6.
