JAKARTA - An eye witness to the arrest of the perpetrators of confinement told that the car driven by the perpetrators hit a number of road users at Sunter Karya Timur Raya, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.

Ali (25), one of the eyewitnesses, said that the perpetrator who was driving a black Toyota Vios was driving from the direction of the Royal Progress Hospital, Sunter. At that time, Ali continued, the car went against the road because the condition of the other lane was jammed.

"He (the perpetrator) has been surrounded, he is a DPO (wanted list). But he ran away, he cut him from the direction of the (Royal Progres) Hospital here. I was with him, we were washing, we wanted to be beaten, we came here he was happy, " said Ali when met at the location, Tuesday, July 5.

"(Almost got hit) The boss's motorbike is blue, the next employee is black, (a total of) four. Same one brio car," he continued.

Ali said, the perpetrator's car finally stopped after hitting the road divider at the crime scene (TKP). At that time the perpetrator, Roni, was arrested by residents.

Not long after, Ali continued, the police arrived at the location and arrested the perpetrators.

"The buser came by Gojek. Then dispersed. Continue to look for evidence, firearms, gun holsters, the car was transported at 8 pm," said Ali.

The same thing was explained by Ari (45), an online motorcycle taxi driver (ojol) who said that the perpetrator cut the road from the Royal Progress Hospital.

"The perpetrator was from the Progress Royal Hospital in the opposite direction, so the driver was hit by a collision. When I arrived at the final scene, the position was already crowded. He said he was driving a fast car in the opposite direction, crashing into people," he said.

Ari saw the condition of the perpetrator suffered serious injuries to the face after being beaten by dozens of residents and motorcycle taxi drivers.

"Destroy it, it must be bleeding on the head, face, crushed with a helmet, stones. The car was also wrecked. Not long after the buser came, fired twice. Maybe if the police didn't come, the perpetrator could have died," he concluded.

Previously reported, Ronny is the perpetrator of confinement. He imprisoned a woman with the initials CAT (16) who at that time went to a mall in West Jakarta. Roni asked for a ransom of Rp. 50 million from CAT's parents.

CAT's parents immediately reported the incident. The police also mapped out the whereabouts of the perpetrators. "The team chased the perpetrators who were driving towards Jalan Raya Sunter. At the time of the pursuit, the perpetrators drove fast and hit several people's motorbikes," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan.
