Police Investigate Case Of Stray Bullets In Cilincing, Jakarta

JAKARTA - The police are still investigating the case of a stray bullet that hit the lamp of a resident's house in Kalibaru, Cilincing, North Jakarta on Sunday, July 3 at around 23.00 WIB.

It should be noted that the bullet that targeted the resident's house hit the lamp. As a result, the broken glass bulb injured the occupant of the house named Nurhasanah (26).

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cilincing Police, AKP Alex Chandra confirmed that there were victims in the incident. The incident occurred on Sunday, July 3, at 23.00 WIB.

The incident occurred when the victim, who is familiarly called Anah, was relaxing in front of her room on the 2nd floor. Suddenly, there was the sound of a lamp breaking. The broken glass of the bulb hit Anah's leg directly.

"Yes (true) a resident of RT 010 RW 006 Kalibaru, North Jakarta. (Now) his condition is healthy, the wound is between the toe of the left ring finger," Alex said when confirmed, Tuesday, July 5.

Alex admitted that his party found projectiles near the scene. The object has now been taken by the Cilincing Police, for further action.

"While we can't conclude yet. Because the projectile was found around one meter from the victim's location, unless the object entered the body. We still need further investigation," he said.

He also said his party had examined several witnesses. In order to uncover the case of the projectile discovery.

"We are still looking for witnesses who heard the sound of the eruption. There are about six witnesses being examined," he concluded.
