MAGELANG - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo was reminded by the guitarist of the Padi Reborn band, Piyu, to continue to wear masks and obey health protocols (prokes).

This happened when Piyu greeted Ganjar who was watching the 2022 Prambanan Jazz Festival in the Prambanan Temple area, Saturday, July 2 night.

"This is a deposit (message). We must continue to wear masks, maintain health, and maintain health procedures. Don't lose to Pak Ganjar who continues to wear masks. But now why have they been removed, sir," said Piyu, quoted from Era.id.

While sitting watching the concert, Ganjar seemed to take off his mask.

At the music concert with a capacity of 7,500 seats, Padi sang some of his flagship numbers, such as Mahadewi, So Beautiful, and Sobat.

Previously, Ganjar's presence did not go unnoticed by Fadly, the vocalist, who greeted Ganjar who was sitting in the front row.

Padi Reborn succeeded in closing the second day of the 2022 Prambanan Jazz Festival from three days of implementation. Apart from Padi, a number of musicians also performed at the music concert with the background of Prambanan Temple, such as Tulus, Andien, and Fariz RM.

Ganjar himself admitted that he was lucky because he had the opportunity to watch the Prambanan Jazz Festival 2022 tonight to coincide with the appearance of Padi Reborn.

It is proven that three days until tomorrow I think it will be crowded. The performance is also extraordinary," said Ganjar after watching the Prambanan Jazz Festival 2022.

Coming with his wife and family, Ganjar was seen mingling with the audience present at the location.

He arrived around 20.30, right in the middle of Kunto Aji's performance, and immediately took a seat in the audience.

Ganjar also told how he had fun watching the 2022 Prambanan Jazz Festival even though he had to jostle with the audience when he left the location. He called it one of the longings of watching music concerts.

"Watching music has to be like this, you have to jostle, sing, sway. The excitement is felt," he said.

He hopes that music concerts like that can run normally again. To make it happen, Ganjar advised the community to keep taking care of themselves so that their respective health is protected.

Ganjar admitted that he was looking forward to the Dream Theater concert which was planned to be held in Solo next month.

"If everyone is healthy, concerts like this will definitely run. Soon there will be concerts that are international class and will definitely be more crowded. Not only in Klaten, later on August 10, it will be in Solo, wow, it must be very crowded," said Ganjar.
