Vice President Ma'ruf Amin Handover Social Assistance For NTB

LOMBOK - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin handed over social assistance (bansos) in the form of the Family Hope Program (PKH), Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) in the form of basic necessities, Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) for cooking oil worth a total of Rp456,905,835,857 to the Government Province of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

"Alhamdulillah, this afternoon, on behalf of the government, I convey various employment assistance, BPJS assistance, PKH, basic necessities, cooking oil BLT, for 2022," he said at the Social Service Office of the NTB Provincial Government, Mataram, Friday.

The assistance was symbolically given to the Governor of the NTB Province, Zulkieflimansyah.

"This is part of the government's commitment and it is the government's obligation to provide social protection to people who are indeed unable and also to empower the community so that they can be independent," he added.

The vice president hopes that the assistance can be used as much as possible for families in NTB, including school-age children.

"Including scholarships from elementary school to college. This is indeed the government's obligation because in accordance with the government's ability and government commitment this will continue to be implemented. Hopefully our government can continue to provide compensation and social protection to the poor wherever they are, including in rural areas. West Nusa Tenggara through the Ministry of Social Affairs and BPJS Employment," he said.

The vice president also had a brief dialogue with the mothers who were present at the location of the assistance.

"Women accept it sincerely huh?" asked the Vice President.

"Sincerely," answered the mothers.

"Thank God," replied the Vice President.

The details of the assistance submitted by Vice President Ma'ruf Amin were PKH for 203,790 Beneficiary Families (KPM) amounting to Rp217,945,350,000, BPNT for 475,532 KPM worth Rp95,106,400,000, BLT cooking oil for 475,532 KPM worth Rp142,659,600,000.

There is still social assistance assistance worth Rp1,194,485,857 which was symbolically given to Mrs. Suriani as a person with a disability with the help of three-wheeled motorcycles worth Rp30 million.

Meanwhile, compensation from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan which was handed over by Vice President Ma'ruf Amin was given to 343 heirs with a total compensation of Rp. 21,293,500,000.

Furthermore, the receipt of compensation for the Old Age Security program, Work Accident Insurance, Death Insurance, Pension Security, and Job Loss Guarantee from all BPJS Employment programs in NTB June 2021 - June 2022 with a nominal value of Rp.443,375,794,973 which consists of 35,892 claims.
