The Ideal Coalition Claims, Habiburokhman: Gerindra Cadres Are Disciplined, PKB Prays For Makbul

JAKARTA - Deputy General Chairperson (Waketum) of the Gerindra Party, Habiburokhman, revealed that the meeting between the Gerindra Party and PKB on Thursday, June 30, agreed to build a coalition for the 2024 presidential election. Last night's meeting, he said, was filled with jokes and laughter.

"The meeting was filled with laughter and jokes. The point of the meeting is to equalize the frequency, so that it becomes more compact," said Habiburokhman in his statement, Friday, July 1.

Habiburokhman said the cadres were very enthusiastic about the meeting of Gerindra General Chair Prabowo Subianto and PKB Chairperson Muhaimin Iskandar some time ago.

So last night, he said, the two parties agreed to follow up the exploration of cooperation for 2024.

"The meeting fulfilled the demand from the underworld who was very enthusiastic to follow up on the Pak Prabowo-Gus Muhaimin meeting some time ago," explained the member of Commission III of the DPR.

Habiburokhman then quoted the statement of the Deputy PKB Jazilul Fawaid who said that Gerindra and PKB were the ideal duo.

He said, Gerindra is known as a disciplined party, while PKB has a cadre base with prayers being answered.

"Gus Jazilul Fawaid stated that Gerindra-PKB cooperation is ideal. On the one hand, Gerindra cadres are known for being disciplined, on the other hand the prayers of PKB cadres usually come true," he claimed.

Previously, the Deputy Chairperson of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Jazilul Fawaid confirmed that his party was in a coalition with the Gerindra Party for the 2024 presidential election.

"Yes, the coalition," said Jazilul when confirmed, Friday, July 1.

Jazilul mentioned the name of the inter-party coalition chaired by Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) and Prabowo Subianto called the Greater Indonesia Awakening Coalition.

"The Greater Indonesia Awakening Coalition," he said.
