JAKARTA - The origin of the package containing sandals with a series of wires like a detonator or a bomb trigger found in the Class II A Women's Correctional Institution (Lapas) Tangerang, Tangerang City, has been known. Police said the package was sent via an online taxi application.

"The sender went through Gocar, so the Gocar driver received an order from someone," said Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Thursday, June 30.

In fact, the identity of the sender of the sandal package with a series of cables has been identified.

The identity of the sender was revealed based on the results of the Gocar driver's examination. In addition, the sender's name is also listed in the order history in the online taxi application.

Then, from the results of a temporary search, the package was sent from the Jagakarsa area, South Jakarta.

"We already know the giver of the order and we are looking for it for inspection," said Zulpan.

At this time, the police also know the person who received the package. Zulpan said he was indeed a resident of the Class II A Tangerang Women's Prison.

"Inmates in ordinary cases are not terrorists. The woman is the prisoner," said Zulpan.

Meanwhile, a package containing sandals with a series of wires was found at the Class II A Women's Correctional Institution (Lapas) Tangerang, Tangerang City, Wednesday, June 29. The package was addressed to an inmate who is languishing in the prison.

However, based on the investigation by the bomb disposal team (jibom), the sandals did not contain traces of explosives.
