Anies Secretly Changes Street Names Without Deliberation, Until He Changes Rainbows At Night Without Notifying RT RW

JAKARTA - Protests against the change of street names by the Governor of DKI Jakarta continue to emerge. This time, residents of RW 06 Tanah Tinggi Sub-district, Johar Baru District, admitted that they did not accept and refused to change the name of the street in their area.

When the name of Jalan Tanah Tinggi V changed to Jalan Hamid Arief, residents claimed that they had never been involved. Residents said, there was no deliberation or notification of the change of street name from the local kelurahan.

"We were never involved in deliberation at all. Residents, even the head of the RT did not receive any notification. We also residents strongly objected to the change in the name of the road," said Irzon, a resident of RT 10/06, Tanah Tinggi Village, Johar. New, rejected, Thursday, June 30.

Irzon said that the name change of Jalan Tanah Tinggi V to Jalan Hamid Arief did not involve any residents. Even the local RT did not know about this and instead the street signage was installed secretly.

"They suddenly put up the rainbow sign in the middle of the night without any residents knowing and the RT," he said.

Meanwhile, Fajri as the Head of RT 10/06 confirmed that he had never received an invitation to deliberation regarding the change of street names. He actually knew that the name of the road had changed, which was installed without the knowledge of the residents.

"We still refuse to change street names in our area," he said.

Previously, it was reported that after DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan inaugurated the change of 22 street names in DKI Jakarta with the names of Betawi figures, the polemic actually emerged from residents who live in several areas whose street names have changed.

One of them is on Jalan Budaya which turned into Jalan Entong Gendut in the Kramat Jati area, East Jakarta.
