A Saudi Arabian Citizen Who Sprinkles Hard Water On Siri's Wife To Death Is Demanded Life Incarceration

CIANJUR - The Public Prosecutor of the Cianjur District Prosecutors, West Java, read out the demands for a life sentence against Saudi Arabian citizen Abdul Latif, who poured hard water on Sarah (21) until the victim died.

The Public Prosecutor of the Cianjur District Attorney's Office, Siti, in the trial at the Cianjur District Court on Wednesday, June 29, said that the defendant was proven to have committed a premeditated murder of the victim who was his wife, who had only been married for 1.5 months.

"The defendant had planned the sadistic murder, including ordering liquor long before committing his crime. The perpetrator even sadistically drank liquor into the victim's mouth," he said, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, June 29.

For this heinous act, the Public Prosecutor asked the judge to impose a life sentence on the defendant in accordance with Article 340 of the Criminal Code on Premeditated Murder and Articles 338 and 351 of the Criminal Code on Persecution which resulted in the death of Sarah, a resident of Cianjur District.

"We ask the judge to give the maximum sentence to the defendant because it was clearly proven that he had committed an unlawful and premeditated act," he said.

A foreign man from Saudi Arabia, Abdul Latif, was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cianjur Police at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tenggerang, Banten, when he was about to flee to his country after killing Sarah, who was his wife, by dousing him with hard water.

Sarah breathed her last in front of the terrace of her house in Munjul Village, Sukamaju Village, Cianjur District, with burns almost all over her body which were doused with hard water by the defendant. Even the defendant viciously drank hard water into the victim's mouth.
