Check 4 Employees Of PT Pertamina, KPK Find Out LNG Procurement Process

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating the procurement process for liquefied natural gas (LNG) at PT Pertamina in 2011-2021. This investigation was carried out by examining four witnesses who were employees of the state-owned company.

The witnesses examined were Rina Kartika Sari, Wiko Migantoro, Achmad Khoiruddin, and Djohardi Angga Kusumah. They were examined on Tuesday, June 28.

"The witnesses were present and confirmed, among others, that they are still related to the deepening of the mechanism for the initial process for the procurement of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) at PT PTMN (Pertamina) in 2011-2021," Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Affairs Ali Fikri told reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, June 29.

Actually, the KPK will also examine other employees, namely Didik Sasongko Widi and Isabella Hutahean. But, Ali said, the two were not present.

"Rescheduling will be done soon," he added.

As previously reported, the alleged corruption case in the purchase of liquefied natural gas (LNG) at PT Pertamina has entered the investigation stage.

The KPK will soon announce the suspects in the alleged corruption case at the state-owned company. This presumptuous practice occurred around 2011-2012.

In an effort to investigate this alleged corruption, the KPK will summon a number of witnesses. The goal is to collect evidence.
