Police Have Examined Witnesses And Experts Investigate Meme Stupa Borobudur Temple Similar To Jokowi, Who Are They?

JAKARTA - The Cyber Crime Directorate of the National Police continues to investigate the uploader of the Borobudur Temple stupa meme that looks like President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). So far, a number of witnesses and experts have been questioned.

"(Already, ed) Asked for information from expert witnesses and other witnesses," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division Kombes Gatot Repli Handoko when confirmed, Monday, June 27.

However, it did not specify the number of witnesses and experts have been asked for information regarding the case.

Gatot only mentioned that the examination of witnesses and experts was to find evidence and clues. So, later a case will be held to decide whether or not this case can go to the investigation stage

Meanwhile, the meme case of the Borobudur Temple stupa that resembles Jokowi's face is still under investigation.

"Until now, Ditsiber investigators are still investigating," said Gatot.

On the previous occasion, the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, stated that his party was studying and tracing the perpetrators of the meme maker.

"It is being investigated and profiling by cyber," said Dedi.

For information, Roy Suryo, who uploaded a meme of a temple ornament stupa with a face that allegedly resembles a head of state. The photo was uploaded via his Twitter account @KRMTRoySuryo2.

The photo of the meme with the background of Borobudur Temple is given a narration that smacks of the government's plan to set the entrance fee for Bodobudur Temple at a high nominal.
