PPTK for Land Procurement Activities at the PUPR Office of Kediri Regency, Agus Sudarmadi, said that the point of road widening in the Jongbiru Bridge planning area, whose realization will only begin in 2023.

"Currently we are in the preparation stage, socializing the land acquisition plan for the construction of the Jongbiru Bridge access," said Agus in Kediri, East Java, Sunday, June 26.

The plan to build the Jongbiru Bridge, which will stand in Jongbiru Village, Gampengrejo District, Kediri Regency, is in accordance with the program from the Kediri Regency Government.

Agus said the government had prioritized two bridges connecting the region, namely the Ngadi and Jongbiru bridges. The development was carried out because of its high urgency.

Agus said, in accordance with the direction of the Regent of Kediri, the government hopes that the development will have a positive impact. The bridge has a connectivity value so that it really supports transportation facilities.

Agus also said that the Public Works and Spatial Planning Service (PUPR) of Kediri Regency would carry out several activities, namely socialization, including initial data collection of affected residents, then public consultation.

"From this activity, the land acquisition preparation team will determine the location of the road widening. We are targeting the issuance of this location determination by the end of July," said Agus.

Agus hopes that the land acquisition preparation process will soon be completed on target and according to existing regulations. The land area planned to be included in this projection is 1,560 square meters.
