JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan said that the Formula E Jakarta event on June 4 was a success. Anies also thanked a number of parties.

One of Anies' words of gratitude is addressed to social media activists who often highlight Formula E, from planning to organizing races. Not infrequently, these social media activists criticize Anies about the electric car race.

"Social media activists who don't go days without talking about Formula E, we thank you. Because your attention, your time, your energy, is a very big contribution to the implementation of Formula E," said Anies at City Hall. DKI, Friday, June 24.

Anies claimed that the Jakarta E-Prix 2022 was the best Formula E event compared to other hosting countries. This, he admitted, was based on a statement by Formula E Co-Founder Alberto Longo.

"Alhamdulillah, the event went smoothly and was a success. In fact, in the records of Formula E, it was stated that yesterday's Jakarta E-Prix was the best in the 8-year history of Formula E," he said.

The former Minister of Education and Culture said that the indicator of Formula E's success is seen from the exposure or public attention to this race, then the appreciation of the drivers on the circuit, and the form of the implementation itself.

"They are very respectful of the results we have. You could say there are no complaints. Then, the media exposure is very high, both domestically and internationally," said Anies.

"So, not only because the preparation of the event and the implementation is neat and professional, but also because of the passion of the community, the enthusiasm of the community, and the media which is quite high," he continued.
