JAKARTA – Two women from Grobogan and Pekalongan who represented the Central Java Regional Police won first place in the 'Police Change Path' creation competition.

The two participants who succeeded in making Central Java proud were First Brigadier Sefin Anggi Riyantika, a female policewoman from the Grobogan District Police and Nurul Mutiara, a writer from Pekalongan City.

Brigadier Sefin won 1st place in the Vlog category and Nurul Mutiara won 1st place in the Blog category in an activity held at the Tribrata Building, South Jakarta, on Wednesday, June 22, evening.

In the event which was attended by the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, both of them felt proud and touched that their work was declared 1st place in the category they were participating in.

"Happy and proud, because the National Police Chief gives very high appreciation to the winners and all participants," said First Brigadier Sefin in a written statement, Thursday, June 23.

He revealed, in his video entitled 'Devotion (Story of Bhabinkamtibmas)' the background of Bhabinkamtibmas activities in carrying out tasks in the community.

"So that the wider community can know what the main police duties are Bhabinkamtibmas," he said.

He also thanked the Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Pol Ahmad Luthfi and Deputy Police Chief Brigadier General Abioso Seno Aji for the support that had been given.

"This achievement is very proud and will motivate us and the team to continue to produce creative works," he concluded.

Nurul Mutiara also conveyed the same expression. Through his writing entitled 'The Active Role of the Police in Serving Affected Communities Rob in Pekalongan City' won 1st place in the Blog category.

This paper was inspired by the efforts to overcome the flood in Pekalongan carried out by the National Police together with other relevant agencies. He was present at the disaster location and helped to perpetuate the evacuation process and disaster management efforts carried out.

“At that time I saw police cars passing by at the disaster site. My instincts as a writer make me immediately take pictures of the police when evacuating people," he explained.

According to him, the efforts made by members of the Bhayangkara corps show that the police are at the forefront of helping people affected by disasters. The results of these observations are then poured into writings that are uploaded to his personal blog.

When he learned that there was information about the Nusantara Gemilang 'Setapak Changes Police' creation competition on the Divhumas Polri Instagram account, the author, who is also a reviewer of various beauty products, was motivated to include his writings.

"I didn't think that my writing was declared the 1st place winner. It was something that I had not imagined before being able to meet directly with the National Police Chief and receive an award directly from him," he said while expressing his gratitude and emotion for his achievements.

For the achievements of the two, the Head of the Central Java Regional Police Humas Kombes Pol Iqbal Alqudusy who was also present to accompany the event gave appreciation for their achievements.

He also thanked them for their participation in the competition which was held in commemoration of the 76th Bhayangkara Day.

“Congratulations to Dik Sefin and Mbak Nurul for their achievements. It is an honor to be able to present a champion for the Central Java Police and the people of Central Java in general,"

Iqbal said that the Blog and Vlog Contest for Changes in the Police was part of Nusantara Gemilang's activities, which was a series of activities held by the National Police to welcome the 76th Anniversary of Bhayangkara.

"The event held a multicultural art and cultural performance competition as an event to build togetherness, mingling and intimacy, which was attended by hundreds of participants from all Polda in Indonesia," he said.

Iqbal said that the Indonesian National Police really appreciates the differences and diversity of the Indonesian people. Togetherness in diversity in Indonesian society is often praised internationally.

"The National Police are also ready to accept criticism and constructive suggestions from the community. Public input is an intake of positive energy that will be used by the Police to continue to improve in carrying out their duties and serving the interests of the community," he said.
