Beginning Of July, 5,000 ASN Including Regional Heads And DPRD Members In Mataram Don't Forget To Check Accounts!

MATARAM - The Regional Finance Agency of Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara Province, said that in addition to the State Civil Apparatus (ASN), regional heads and DPRD members will also receive their 13th salary in 2022 which will be disbursed in early July.

"The rules do state that apart from civil servants, the 13th salary is also paid to regional heads (mayors and deputy mayors) and members of the council," explained Mataram City Regional Finance Agency (BKD) Head H Syakirin Hukmi in Mataram, Antara, Thursday, 23 June.

The budget for the payment of the 13th salary for about 5,000 civil servants, regional heads and members of the council reached around Rp. 25 billion more. Meanwhile, in accordance with the mayor's regulation (perwal) the disbursement process is carried out by each regional apparatus organization (OPD).

"The mechanism is that the OPD proposes a budget requirement for the payment of the 13th salary," he said.

The disbursement of the 13th salary every year is scheduled for July, because the purpose is as an education fund to help the community meet the school needs of their children, especially those who have just entered school or continue to a higher level.

"Thus, the disbursement of the 13th salary carried out during the process of accepting new students (PPDB) or the new school year can be more targeted," he said.

According to him, the disbursement of the 13th salary is the same as the disbursement of the holiday allowance (THR), which is given once the basic salary based on the class, so that civil servants receive their 13th salary in full without any deductions, as is the case when receiving THR.

"If the salary is given every month, civil servants may have deductions for loans or others. The deductions are not made in the 13th salary, so civil servants receive the full salary," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the provision of the 13th salary for non-PNS employees, Syakirin said that there was no special budget allocation for non-PNS employees.

"In the contract signed by non-PNS employees in Mataram, there is no mention that they are entitled to receive the 13th salary or THR. The contract only mentions salary rights," he said.
