PAPUA - This is the location of the Susi Air PK BVM plane which was reported to have lost contact and crashed in the Duma District, Papua, Thursday, June 23. After a search by the joint SAR team using Helly Caracal, officers managed to find and evacuate the pilot and six passengers. The pilot and six survivors were immediately taken to Mimika Hospital for intensive treatment. Previously, the Susi Air plane was Pilatus Porter PC-6 with flight number PK-BVM, reportedly lost contact at around 08.20 WIT on the Timika-Duma-Timika flight. The plane operated by PT ASI Pujiastuti Aviation contained six passengers.
