Without Coercion, 12 Members Of The Muslim Khilafatul In Majalengka Say Pledge Everytime To The Unitary State Of The Republic Of Indonesia And Pancasila

A total of 12 members of the Khilafatul Muslimin recited their pledge of allegiance to the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and Pancasila (Via ANTARA)

MAJALENGKA - Majalengka Resort Police (Polres), West Java, facilitated as many as 12 Khilafatul Muslimi congregants to leave the organization and pledged allegiance to the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) and Pancasila.

"It is hoped that this activity (the pledge to leave the Khilafatul Muslimin organization) is not merely ceremonial, but aims to further strengthen unity and integrity," said Majalengka Police Chief AKBP Edwin Affandi in Majalengka, Antara, Thursday, June 23.

Edwin said that 12 members of the Khilafatul Muslimin Majalengka had pledged to leave the organization and pledged allegiance to the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and Pancasila without any coercion.

"They agreed to leave the Khilafatul Muslimin organization based on the awareness of each individual and there was no coercion from any party," he explained.

According to him, the Majalengka Police only facilitated and witnessed that they had truly left the Khilafatul Muslimin organization.

"After making the pledge, they signed a statement of loyalty to the Republic of Indonesia witnessed by Forkopimda Majalengka," he said.

Eden added that the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia was formed from the services of heroes and was mandated by the spirit of Pancasila, if the development and implementation of this nation and state is infiltrated by the wrong sect, it will damage the state order.

"We hope that they will continue to be loyal, without entering an organization that is against the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and Pancasila," he said.
