JAKARTA - A mass of students and workers has dispersed from the area of the Arjuna Wiwaha Horse Statue, Central Jakarta. The situation is conducive.

Based on VOI monitoring at the location, at around 17.20 WIB, officers were seen cleaning the location which was previously used for demonstrations. A tire that was set on fire by the mob was extinguished by cleaners.

Some of the police and TNI have returned, some are still monitoring conditions in the National Monument area. The traffic at the Horse Statue roundabout is already accessible by vehicles. However, Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat is still closed.

Potential chaos had occurred. When the student and labor masses had dispersed, at around 16:40 WIB, an anonymous mass approached the location of the action.

From behind the barrier, a number of protesters asked for drinking water to the police. The police threw four mineral water and were arrested by the mob.

Before long, the crowd burned one tire in the middle of the crowd, then they cheered. Not wanting a riot to occur, the TNI AD officers then mingled into the mass of the action without an identity. Persuasively, the TNI apparatus asked the masses to return home.

A moment later, the police were seen chasing a suspected pickpocket in the Horse Statue area. The Head of Central Jakarta Police, Kombes Heru Novianto, also stepped in to secure the suspected pickpockets.

This young man wearing a white shirt was arrested in front of the ESDM Ministry Building. Heru was seen immediately taking the young man to a police car parked at the Southwest Monas Crossing, escorted by several of his members. This young man seemed unable to do much because he was caught by the police.
