Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Rosan Roeslani said millennials must start to take advantage of business potential. However, according to him, you still have to be smart in seeing the existing business trend cycle.

According to Rosan, rather than following trending businesses, millennials are better off choosing a business that is not on the rise, but has good prospects in the future.

"For me, there are more businesses that are no longer trendy. Because we are trying to enter the business world which may not be the trend yet, but we see that the prospects are still there. According to Rosan, businesses that are on the rise or trend are indeed profitable. However, this opportunity is also being glimpsed by everyone, as a result the business cycle has reached its peak so that there may be a decline.

Therefore, said Rosan, business actors must see whether this trend is only in its early phase, has begun to reach a peak or has even begun to enter a downward cycle phase.

"So we have to see that this is only in the initial trend or has started to peak or has even decreased. So it doesn't mean that if it's trendy, let's go there, we have to be smart to see the trend," he said.

Rosan said, what must be prepared to start a business is courage. Especially in taking risks to step up. Because, this risk will determine the fate of the business.

Furthermore, he emphasized that failure in doing business is part of a process to achieve success. Therefore, he said, a businessman should not give up just because he has failed. In undergoing the process, you must be able to enjoy it. The ups and downs of the business are part of becoming a maturity and success.

"The important thing is to enjoy it, the intention is good, and don't give up easily. If you give up easily, it is better not to become an entrepreneur, because of course we all face success and failure, everything from small to large business actors will definitely experience this," he said.
