PKB Calls To Invite Gerindra Coalition Because Prabowo Always Loses In Games, Feels He Always Wins?

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the PKB, Jazilul Fawaid, revealed his special reason for wanting to work together to build a coalition with the Gerindra Party.

Jazilul said PKB wanted to challenge itself to join Gerindra, which has always lost in several presidential elections. Meanwhile, PKB, which has never formed a coalition with Gerindra, has always won.

"This is not feeling arrogant or not, but this is a matter of history. We will consider in 2024, is it possible for Gerindra to build a coalition (with PKB) for the first time to win or not? For PKB it is a challenge," said Jazilul, Wednesday, 22 June.

The man who is familiarly called Gus Jazil explained that since PKB and Gerindra were formed the two of them had never tried to be 'friends'. In fact, the General Chair of Gerindra, who has participated in three presidential election contests, either as vice president or presidential candidate, has never tasted victory.

Even though at that time Gerindra was in a coalition with the PDIP which also always won elections. "Since PKB was born and since Gerindra was born, it has never been in a coalition. And Gerindra has always lost in games, the president and the vice president," explained Jazilul.

"Meanwhile, PKB has formed a coalition with various parties, and PKB has always won," he continued. However, PKB sees the possible opportunities that Prabowo and his ranks can get if they form a coalition with the political party led by Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin.

Gus Jazil hopes that the match between PKB and Gerindra in the Greater Indonesia Awakening (KIR) coalition can give happy results in the 2024 presidential election.

"This PKB and Gerindra are completely new. Hopefully, when Gerindra joins, Gerindra will win first," hoped Gus Jazil.

"Don't let it be the other way around, once PKB first joined Gerindra, it was the first time it lost. We will continue to win in the coalition," he continued.

Previously, the Daily Chair of the Gerindra Party DPP, Sufmi Dasco, said that the Gerindra Party opened the door to a coalition with PKB because it found a common ground for cooperation for the 2024 General Election.

"We also open the widest possible door for cooperation between parties, after yesterday we made an understanding and cooperation to face the general election together with PKB," said Dasco, Tuesday, June 21. In addition to the PKB, added the Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Gerindra is also exploring cooperation with other political parties for the 2024 Election. "We also open up opportunities for other parties so that we can work together to face the General Election, Pilleg, Presidential Election and Regional Election, ' said Dasco.
