BADUNG - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno hopes that the Asian Venture Philanthropy Network (AVPN) Conference in Bali will be able to present solutions and open investment opportunities in the tourism and creative economy sectors.

"This event aims to provide solutions and opportunities in terms of a sustainable and inclusive economy, to create a safe environment, increase productivity, stability and security, and also to strengthen global leadership, especially in Asia," said Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Uno while attending the event in Nusa Dua, Badung Regency, Bali, Tuesday.

He said tourism and the creative economy were one of the sectors hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. But on the other hand, the tourism sector and the creative economy (parekraf) have also become the main locomotive in economic revival.

According to Sandiaga Uno, strengthening investment in the tourism and creative sector will increase the role of tourism and the creative economy in economic revival and opening up job opportunities.
