Three Traffic Schemes Related To The Demo For Today's Job Creation Law

JAKARTA - The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya has prepared a traffic transfer scheme in three locations, namely the State Palace, DPR / MPR, and the Proclamation Monument. The implementation of this scheme is related to demonstrations against the Job Creation Law.

"Avoid the area of the State Palace, DPR / MPR RI, and the Proclamation Monument," said Director of the Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo to reporters, Wednesday, October 28.

For traffic flow diversion schemes in the State Palace area, vehicles from the direction of Jalan Veteran Raya to Jalan Veteran III will be aligned to Traffic light Harmoni.

Then, vehicles from Medan Merdeka Timur road to Medan Merdeka Utara road will turn right onto Perwira street. Vehicles from Jalan Ridwan Rais heading to Medan Merdeka Selatan road are aligned to Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur.

Next, vehicles from Jalan MH Thamrin heading to the Horse Statue Roundabout are turned left or right onto Jalan Kebon Sirih.

Vehicles from Jalan Abdul Muis that will turn left onto Jalan Budi Kem Mulia are aligned to Jalan Fachrudin. On the other hand, vehicles from Jalan Fachrudin going to turn right onto Jalan Budi Kem Mulia are aligned to Jalan Abdul Muis.

Vehicles from Jalan Tanah Abang II which will go straight to Museum road are turning left or right, the traffic flow from Jalan Majapahit which will turn left to Jalan Museum is straightened to Jalan Abdul Muis and traffic flow from Jalan Abdul Muis which will turn right to the Museum road straightened to the Majapahit street.

Vehicles from Jalan Hayam Wuruk going straight to Jalan Majapahit will turn left to Jalan Juanda and traffic from Jalan Veteran Raya which will turn left to Jalan Majapahit will be straightened to Jalan Suryo Pranoto or turn right on Jalan Gajah Mada.

For the traffic flow diversion scheme in the DPR / MPR RI area, vehicles from Jalan Gatot Subroto towards the DPR Building are turned left onto Jalan Gerbang Pemuda.

On the other hand, the vehicle from the Gerbang Pemuda road towards Jalan Gatot Subroto was turned back under the Pharmacy overpass to the Gerbang Pemuda road.

Vehicles from the Inner City Toll that will come out of the Pulo Dua off ramp will be aligned to the Tomang Toll Road. Vehicles from the East Palmerah road to the Gelora road are aligned to the Student Army road.

Vehicles from the Asia Afrika road to Gelora road turned to the right of the Gerbang Pemuda road. Finally, the vehicle from the Youth Gate to the Gelora road turned left on the Asia Africa road.

Meanwhile, for the traffic flow diversion scheme around the Proklamasi Monument, vehicles from the Pramuka road to the Proklamasi road at Traffic Light Tambak are diverted to Manggarai street and Matraman Dalam street.

Vehicles from the direction of Jalan Diponegoro going to the Proclamation road are aligned towards Salemba Raya. Then, vehicles coming from the Cikini Raya road heading for the Proklamasi road are diverted to the Salemba Raya road

Previously, a number of elements of the masses will hold a demonstration today. Among them, the Indonesian Student Executive Board (BEM SI) is holding a demonstration against the Job Creation Law tomorrow. This action coincided with the commemoration of Youth Pledge Day.

The action will be held at 13.00 WIB. He predicted that the crowd that would attend would be 1,000 people. Some students also come from outside DKI Jakarta Province.

As for the reason BEM SI held another demonstration, Remy admitted that his party was disappointed with President Joko Widodo's attitude of ignoring the rejection of the Job Creation Law which came from various elements of society.
