Head Of BNPT Opens Facts That ASN Turns Out To Be Vulnerable To Violent Ideology

JAKARTA - Head of the National Counter-Terrorism Agency (BNPT) Komjen Pol. Boy Rafli Amar said the state civil apparatus (ASN) was vulnerable to being exposed to violent ideology. So national insight needs to be intensified.

"We also realize that civil servants are one of the groups that are vulnerable to being affected, exposed," Boy told reporters at a press conference on the phenomenon of Contemporary Ideology in Indonesia at the Aryaduta Hotel, Jakarta, Monday, June 20, quoted from Antara.

BNPT previously found a number of places of worship within government agencies that were used to carry out propaganda for violent ideologies.

Therefore, Boy assessed that the leaders of government institutions must strengthen the four pillars of Indonesian nationality in order to strengthen the resilience of ASN from exposure to this ideology.

"Most importantly, in the future, we must take care of the ASN together. We remind that strengthening the four pillars of our nationality is a shared obligation," he stressed.

The four pillars of nationality are an understanding of Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika.

Boy hopes that the leaders of government agencies will more often hold activities related to national insight, which aims to strengthen the values of ASN moderation in religion.

"We coordinate as much as possible so that the programs can run within the local government. We are intensely communicating with the ranks of Kesbangpol (Nation and Political Unity)," he said.

BNPT cooperates with the ranks of the central and local government to protect ASN from exposure to ideologies that lead to violent ideologies. This step aims to ensure that ASN applies and carries out values in accordance with the Pancasila ideology.

"Institutional leaders must ensure and implement preventive measures so that members under them are not easily exposed," he said.
