Representing Jokowi In Front Of Volunteers, Moeldoko Says Don't Rush The 2024 Affair

In his speech, Moeldoko delivered several messages from President Jokowi. One of them is related to the political events of 2024.

"He (President Jokowi) has advised us not to rush, Ojo Kesusu. Because right now there are more important things for us to solve together. Let's focus more on solving the nation's problems," said Moeldoko.

"In terms of politics, we'll just have to wait for his direction on where this big boat of Jokowi volunteers will dock," he added.

Moeldoko emphasized that the current government is still very focused on solving economic problems. At a time when world countries including Indonesia are trying to recover after the COVID19 pandemic, the world economy has been shaken again by the Russia-Ukraine war.

Commodity prices are rising and expensive. The world's countries have also begun to restrain their food and energy exports.

"Facing this, we must strengthen energy and food security. We must be able to plant anything. Whether it's corn, cassava, or sorghum which was recently announced by the President," he stressed.

The 2013-2015 TNI commander also asked Jokowi's volunteers to continue to fully oversee and fully support the running of the government until it is completed in 2024. For the past two years, in addition to efforts to stop the pandemic, President Jokowi's government has consistently carried out all priority work programs and economic recovery programs.

In addition, he explained, infrastructure development will continue to be carried out, incentive assistance for affected communities continues to be rolled out, job creation continues to be pursued, and proper education is still prepared to build superior, cultured, and characterized human resources.

"Let's support President Jokowi's ideals of realizing an Advanced Indonesia in 2045. Without the support of volunteers this government cannot work optimally," he continued.

"More importantly, let's maintain the sustainability of this development. For that we need solidity from all elements of the nation, including volunteers," said Moeldoko.

On that occasion, he also emphasized the importance of vigilance against COVID-19, which is currently showing an increase. The public is advised not to panic, because current health services are much better than in previous years.
