Rain Will Pour In A Number Of Cities In Indonesia On Sunday Afternoon And Evening

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts light to moderate rain in a number of cities in Indonesia on Sunday, June 19 afternoon and evening.

According to the BMKG weather forecast broadcast, as reported by Antara, during the day light rain is likely to fall in the cities of Serang, Gorontalo, Jambi, Pontianak, Palangka Raya, Samarinda, Bandar Lampung, Ambon, Ternate, Mataram, Manokwari, Pekanbaru, Makassar, Kendari, Manado, and Palembang.

The city of Banjarmasin is forecasted to experience rain accompanied by lightning, while the cities of Yogyakarta, Bandung and Mamuju are likely to experience moderate rain during the day.

During the day, the weather for the cities of Central Jakarta, Bengkulu, Jayapura, Padang and Medan is forecasted to be cloudy, while the cities of Banda Aceh, Denpasar, Semarang, Tarakan and Tanjung Pinang are forecasted to be cloudy.

Only the cities of Surabaya and Kupang have sunny weather forecasts during the day. In the evening, only Kupang City is forecasted to have sunny weather.

The cities of Banda Aceh, Denpasar, Serang, Jambi, Bandung, Semarang, Palangka Raya, Samarinda, Bandar Lampung, Ambon, Mataram, Jayapura, Pekanbaru, Makassar, Kendari, Manado and Palembang are predicted to be cloudy at night.

The weather for the cities of Gorontalo, Surabaya, Pontianak, Banjarmasin, Tarakan, Pangkal Pinang, Tanjung Pinang, Padang and Medan is forecasted to be cloudy at night.

In the evening, light rain is likely to fall in Yogyakarta, Central Jakarta, Ternate, Manokwari and Mamuju, while Bengkulu City is forecasted to experience moderate rain.
