Alluded To No Longer President, Jokowi Responds To Thousands Of Pre-Employment Card Alumni Who Cheer: Stop It Will Be Crowded Again

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) seemed to change the topic of discussion when he was mentioned by one of the Pre-Employment Card Alumni participants that he would no longer be President after 2024.

Pudensi, one of the Pre-Employment Card Recipient Alumni from Ende Regency, Flores, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), hopes that the program can continue even though Jokowi is not the President.

"The suggestion is that the Pre-Employment Card (card) should not end here, even though you won't be our President anymore, continue for the rest of your life," said Pudensia at the Gathering of Alumni Pre-Employment Card Recipients at the Sentul International Convention Center (SICC), Bogor, Java. West, Friday June 17th.

Hearing this, thousands of spectators from alumni to officials present immediately cheered.

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) immediately responded, "It's crowded... it's crowded... be careful. It's stopped when it's crowded again, change here," he said, changing the topic.

While agreeing, Pudensi immediately changed the topic by thanking Jokowi for visiting Ende Regency, Flores, NTT.

The Pre-Employment Card Recipient Alumni Gathering is expected to be attended by 8,000 people in a "hybrid" manner to commemorate the Pre-Employment Card Program which has been running for two years, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the event, Jokowi was accompanied by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah.

Furthermore, West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil, Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko, Head of the Pre-Employment Card Program Implementation Team Rudy Salahuddin, and Executive Director of Pre-Employment Card Program Management Denni Puspa Purbasari.
