PA 212 Alumni Threaten To Lower India's Flag If It Still Flying

JAKARTA - Secretary of the 212 Alumni Brotherhood Shura Council (PA) Slamet Maarif who was also present at the demonstration at the Indian embassy (Embassy) said he and his colleagues would lower the Indian flag if it was still flying in the country.

"If you see the Indian flag being lowered, we are lowering it. I agree that the Indian flag should not fly in Indonesia," said Slamer on the command car, Friday, June 17.

"Agreed," said the crowd in front of the Indian embassy, on Jalan Rasuna Said, Kuningan, South Jakarta.

On that occasion, Slamet said that Indians living in Indonesia can live safely. Therefore, Slamet said, he asked Muslims in India to be treated well.

"Your residents here are safe, they can do business, they can make films. Please treat our residents there with the same treatment," he concluded.

For information, a joint mass from the Islamic Brotherhood Front (FPI), GNPF Ulama and Alumni Brotherhood (PA) 212 demonstrated at the Indian Embassy, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Friday, June 17.
