MAKASSAR - BPJS Kesehatan Director of Information Technology Edwin Aristiawan directly monitors the optimization of the application of patient queuing online through the Mobile JKN application at his partner hospital in Makassar, South Sulawesi.

"With this online (online) queue, people who want to come for treatment at the hospital do not need to wait from the morning, reducing queue time. This online queue reduces the accumulation of participant visits, and the face of our service becomes better," he said in Makassar, Friday 17 June.

According to him, the rapid development of technology that continues to develop at this time cannot be denied making various innovations present.

BPJS Kesehatan participates in taking advantage of these technological developments, one of which is online queue innovation in the Mobile JKN application for service improvement.

When looking at the implementation of online queuing through the Mobile JKN application that has been implemented by BPJS Health partner hospitals at Ibnu Sina and Primaya Hospitals Makassar, he said that health facility services in hospitals should be made easier through online queuing services.

The JKN Mobile application, he said, was presented to make it easier for JKN-KIS participants to take a line anywhere and be able to control their own visiting hours, so they don't have to wait long to get a doctor's services.

"The waiting room at the hospital also looks neater, orderly, and does not pile up, making patients and hospital staff more comfortable," he said while at the Ibnu Sina Hospital in Makassar, quoted by Antara.

Director of the Ibnu Sina Hospital Makassar, Dr. Nasruddin, said that the implementation of the BPJS Health online queue system in hospitals had provided many benefits, both for patients, patients' families, and the hospital. For patients and their families, the system saves time.

"They don't need to come too early to get a queue number, and only come when the queue number is close to the schedule. Patients can choose the time to come according to their doctor's schedule, so patients and their families are more comfortable waiting for their service schedule at the hospital," he said.

Likewise, when taking medicine at the pharmacy, because all systems are integrated, patients do not need to worry if the drug is not available because doctors can find out the availability of drugs at the pharmacy.

"For us, the management of Ibnu Sina Hospital, this online queuing system makes the waiting room more spacious because there is no accumulation of patients. The administrative system becomes more orderly and patient satisfaction and comfort can be met. Doctors and all officers can also carry out activities better and according to schedule," said Nasruddin.
