Pilgrimage To The Grave Of Mutasyar PBNU, A Sign Of Gerindra And PKB Coalition?

JAKARTA - A number of elites from the Gerindra Party and the National Awakening Party (PKB) made a joint pilgrimage to the grave of the Mutasyar of the Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) Executive Board KH Dimyati Rois (Mbah Dim) at the Al Fadlu 2 Srogo Islamic Boarding School, Sidorejo Village, Brangsong, Kendal, Central Java on Thursday, June 16, evening.

In this activity, the Secretary-General of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani was accompanied by the Chairman of OKK DPP Gerindra Prasetyo Hadi, Chairman of the Gerindra DPD Central Java Abdul Wachid, and members of the Central Java Gerindra DPRD.

Meanwhile, the PKB elites who attended included the Deputy Chairperson of the PKB Jazilul Fawaid, and the Deputy Secretary of the PKB Shura Council Maman Imanulhaq.

So, is this an open signal that Gerindra will form a coalition with PKB?

At first, Secretary-General of Gerindra M. Ahmad Muzani conveyed the intent and purpose of visiting the grave of Mbah Dim who died on Friday, June 10, last week.

"We, the big family of the Gerindra Party, made a pilgrimage to the grave of the late KH Dimyati Rois. A week ago, the Indonesian people and Muslims lost a great Indonesian cleric who pursued science and continued to produce ulama and Kiai through the students in his Islamic boarding school. They are spread over various parts of the country," said Muzani in a press statement to reporters, Friday, June 17.

Muzani said this pilgrimage was a form of condolences and condolences conveyed by Prabowo and Gerindra over the death of the chairman of the PKB Syuro Council. According to Muzani, the death of Mbah Dim not only left PKB sad, but also Gerindra. "Pak Prabowo is missing a religious scholar who is pious, charismatic, and respected not only by the PKB family, but also by Muslims. But we in the Gerindra Party also feel lost when we need someone who is reassuring and calming in carrying out religious teachings," he continued.

Muzani then said that the momentum of this pilgrimage was a good intention of the Gerindra Party to work together with PKB to continue Mbah Dim's struggles. So, he said, the desire to continue to fight together to build the nation between Gerindra and PKB is very wide open.

"Tonight is Friday night, God willing, it's a good night, hopefully, there is good faith between us and him, hopefully, the good faith between Gerindra and PKB with the blessing of Kiai Dimiyati Rais and gets the pleasure of Allah," he said.

Muzani said that Gerindra and PKB both want to build a better, stronger, just, and prosperous nation and state. Because according to him, all political forces, including Islamic boarding schools, must have the same frequency to unite to become a great nation.

"We both want to build the nation, we want to build a better, stronger, fairer, and more prosperous country so that our nation is more advanced. All political party powers, including Islamic boarding schools, must have the same frequency that our country must be built. on the basis of togetherness, unity, and mutual cooperation so that our country becomes great," said Muzani.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chairperson of PKB Jazilul Fawaid said that PKB and Gerindra had a good relationship. Of course, he said, the relationship was a shared desire between Gerindra and PKB to continue to fight for the advancement of the nation and state.

"Mr. Muzani, my best friend, Gerindra, and PKB have also been in the same line. Of course, when Mr. Muzani invited me to accompany the pilgrimage of the late Mbah Dim, of course, I was happy. Because whatever Mr. Muzani said, we are actually one in the vision of the nation," Jazilul said.

"Including also how to maintain the unity of unity and of course in the future we hope together to build so that the goodness, progress of the people and the Indonesian nation can be together," he added.
