2,899 Pilgrims Of Hajj Candidates Start Moving To Makkah

JAKARTA - A total of 2,899 Indonesian pilgrims from seven groups of pilgrims departed for Mecca by traveling six hours from Medina on Thursday, June 16.

The Indonesian pilgrims went to Mecca to carry out the obligatory Umrah as part of this year's hajj pilgrimage. Previously they performed Arbain worship (congregational prayers at the Prophet's Mosque in 40 times) and pilgrimage for about nine days in Medina.

Data obtained from the arrival and return service of pilgrims signed by the Head of the Mecca Work Area Mukhammad Khanif, in Mecca, seven embarkations namely the Jakarta-Pondok Gede Embarkation (JKG) 6 with 393 pilgrims departing at 06.00 WAS and arriving in Mecca at 12.00 WAS which will occupies Al Lu'luah Hotel (hotel code 301) in sector 3 Raudhah.

Then the Padang Embarkation (PDG) 4 as many as 393 people departed at 06.00 WAS and arrived at 12.00 WAS who will occupy the Al Kiswah Tower hotel (hotel code 401) in sector 4 Jarwal, quoted from Antara, Thursday, June 16.

Furthermore, 410 people from the Jakarta-Bekasi Embarkation (JKS) 5 departed at 06.00 WAS and were scheduled to arrive at 12.00 WAS at Al Khalil Hotel (hotel code 507) in sector 5 of Misfalah.

A total of 450 JCH from Surabaya Embarkation (SUB) 5 departed from Medina at 08.00 WAS and planned to arrive in Mecca at 14.00 WAS. The plan is to occupy the Safwat Al Bait hotel (hotel code 105) in sector 1 Mahbas Jin.

Furthermore, the Jakarta-Bekasi Embarkation (JKS) 6 of 410 JCH departs from Medina at 08.00 WAS and arrives in Mecca at 14.00 WAS will occupy the Al Khalil Hotel (hotel code 507) in sector 5 Misfalah.

Embarkation Surabaya (SUB) 6 with 450 JCH departing from Medina at 08.00 WAS and arriving in Mecca at 14.00 WAS will occupy the Safwat Al Bait hotel (hotel code 105) in sector 1 Mahbas Jin.

Furthermore, the Jakarta-Pondok Gede (JKG) 7 Embarkation of 393 JCH departs from Medina at 14.00 WAS and arrives in Mecca at 20.00 WAS will occupy the Al Lu'luah Hotel (hotel code 301) in sector 3 Raudhah.
