Money Politics Wants, Kudus Regent Asks KPU To Intensively Disseminate 2024 Elections

JAKARTA - Kudus Regent Hartopo said the Kudus Regency government encouraged the local KPU to immediately disseminate the rules and stages of the 2024 General Election to the public.

"When the stages of the general election are disseminated massively, at least there will be public awareness to support the implementation of the general election that will run smoothly," he said when asked for his response regarding the launch of the 2024 election stages by the Central KPU in Kudus, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, June 15.

According to him, the Kudus KPU has a long chance because it is still 2.5 years away, so socialization must start now because there are many general election rules and all of them must be socialized and understood by the public.

Do not let it, he continued, when it has entered the implementation, it turns out that there are still people who do not understand about the stages of the general election later.

"He knew it was about money politics. Meanwhile, the KPU itself hopes that there will be no such thing because quality choices should not be influenced by money politics," he said.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Kudus KPU Naily Syarifah explained the schedule and description of the stages in the 2024 General Election, the closest is party registration and verification.

For that, he added, political parties were asked to prepare the necessary supporting documents and data.

Because the initial stages of the 2024 General Election were officially opened on Tuesday, June 14, by the Central KPU, his party also asked for support and prayers from all parties for the smooth and successful 2024 Election, especially in Kudus Regency.

Representative from the Kudus Bawaslu, Eni Setyaningsih, said that her staff was ready to supervise every stage of the 2024 General Election.
