Using Regional Incentive Funds, 17 Elementary Schools In Central Lombok Are Repaired

CENTRAL LOMBOK - A total of 17 elementary schools (SD) in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB) underwent repairs from the local district government.

"There are 17 elementary schools that were repaired this year," said the Head of the Elementary School Division of the Central Lombok Education Office, Makbul in Praya, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, June 15.

Dozens of schools were repaired using local incentive funds (DID), Pokir and Unexpected Assistance (BTT). However, repairing the damaged school was not done completely, due to budget constraints and the government's financial condition.

The project to repair a dozen schools is in the process of being completed and is targeted to be completed this year.

"There is no total repair of damaged schools," he added.

Based on data, the number of schools damaged both heavily and lightly in Central Lombok reached 120 schools out of 625 public and private schools. So that the repair of the damaged school is carried out in stages, in accordance with the budget and conditions of the school.

"Improvements are carried out in stages," he said.

To resolve the damaged school facilities and infrastructure, it must be done globally. However, the budget conditions do not allow it, so it must be implemented in stages.

"The government's budget is still limited, so the improvements are carried out in stages," he added.

With the improvement of school facilities and infrastructure, it is hoped that the quality of education in Central Lombok can continue to be improved.

"This is one of the government's efforts to continuously improve the quality of education services in Central Lombok," he said.
