Sick Based On Doctor's Recommendation, 3 South Kalimantan Hajj Candidates Delayed Departing To Makkah

KALSEL - Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) of South Kalimantan Province (Kalsel) Dr H Muhammad Tambrin said that three flight group 1 hajj candidates were delayed due to illness.

"This is from a local doctor's recommendation," he said at a press conference at the Banjarmasin Hajj Embarkation Dormitory, in Banjarbaru, quoted from Antara, Sunday, June 12.

According to him, the three hajj candidates that had to be postponed were two from Banjar Regency and one from Tanah Bumbu Regency.

"God willing, if there is a new recommendation on June 21, 2022, the last batch can be dispatched," said Tambrin.

According to him, with the three hajj candidates whose departure was delayed on Sunday, June 12 evening, from the South Kalimantan batch 1 departing at around 23.40 WITA from Syamsuddin Noor International Airport, there were 357 people with hajj officers.

Where the pilgrims for Hajj group 1 in South Kalimantan are from Balangan Regency, Tabalong Regency, Banjar Regency and Tanah Bumbu Regency.

With details, from Tabalong as many as 258 people, Balangan 82 people, Banjar Regency 14 people (delayed leaving 2 people) and Tanah Bumbu 1 person (delayed leaving).

Pilgrims of prospective Hajj group 1 South Kalimantan were already at the Banjarmasin Hajj Embarkation Dormitory on Saturday night.

Currently, prospective pilgrims are preparing to take part in activities ahead of their departure.

Banjarmasin Embarkation, South Kalimantan will fly 7 batches, namely 5 batches from South Kalimantan with a hajj quota of 1,743 people.

Meanwhile, 2 groups from Central Kalimantan with a hajj quota of 739 people.

For accommodation in Saudi Arabia, pilgrims from Banjarmasin Embarkation are based on the zoning system for placement in Makkah in 2022 in the Jarwal region.
