Residents' Testimony Of The Otista Indomaret Robbery: The Head Of The Outlet Is Tidying Things Up Suddenly Gasoline Is Doused By The Perpetrators

JAKARTA - The Indomaret robbery that took place on Jalan Otista Raya, Jatinegara, East Jakarta had shocked Bidara Cina residents. Residents were shocked to learn that an Indomarety employee was doused with gasoline by the perpetrators during their action.

Alam (55), a local resident, said that he admitted that he had come to the location when he learned that there was a robbery in Indomaret near his house.

"The head of the shop (the outlet) is still tidying things up, he said they doused it with gasoline," said Alam to reporters at the location, Friday, June 10.

The perpetrators poured gasoline on the victim's body, marked by the smell that Nature inhaled when she entered the minimarket.

"It smells like gasoline when I enter," said Alam.

Alam said, at the time of the incident, there were two people in the shop.

"There were two people inside, the head of the shop (outlet) was in the middle of tidying things up that was doused with gasoline, the one who used a rifle (firearm) pointed at the cashier, pointed and took money," he said.

According to Alam, the two victims were not injured, only that they were threatened by the two robbers.

Meanwhile, according to N, one of the cashiers, the robbery took place at the mini market where he worked.

"Yes, it's true here. In the (WhatsApp) group, the information is here," said N at the location, Friday, June 10.

However, N did not want to comment on the chronology of the robbery. He admitted that he had just worked at the minimarket.

Previously, it was reported that two sadistic robbers carrying firearms carried out a robbery at an Indomaret Otista Biduri minimarket, Jalan Otista, RT 01/03, Bidaracina Village, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta.

One of the perpetrators poured gasoline on one of the Indomaret cashier employees and threatened to set fire to it.
