Corruption Case In Cengkareng Land Procurement Bareskrim Seizes IDR 700 Billion In Assets, Roy Suryo Sindir Ahok: Is His Track Record Clear, Right?

JAKARTA - Former Democrat Party cadre Roy Suryo supports the efforts of the Directorate of Corruption Crimes (Dittipikor) of the National Police to investigate allegations of corruption in land acquisition for flats (rusun) in Cengkareng, West Jakarta.

Roy explained that the alleged corruption case in the procurement of land for flats in Cengkareng occurred when Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok served as Governor of DKI Jakarta.

In more detail, Roy revealed the name Ahok he meant. He said the Chinese name of the President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero) was quoted from the Wikipedia site.

"The corruption in the flat land worth Rp700 billion is the case in Cengkareng during the AHOK era, aka Basuki Tjahaja Purnama," he explained.

Roy then linked his support for the alleged corruption case that was being investigated by the Criminal Investigation Department with a track record.

"It's clear that his track record is actually, right? AMBYAR," he said.

The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police is known to continue to investigate cases of alleged corruption in the procurement of flat land in Cengkareng. Recently, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police confiscated assets worth IDR 700 billion related to the case as an effort to recover assets.

Director of Corruption Crimes at the National Police Bareskrim Brigadier General Cahyono Wibowo said the assets were confiscated from two suspects in this case, namely the Head of the Housing and Settlement Development Division of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Housing and Buildings Office, Sukmana, along with a private party named Rudy Hartono Iskandar.

"We can relate the crime of money laundering. Then, we have recovered around Rp700 billion in assets," said the Director of Corruption Crimes at the Indonesian National Police, Brigadier General Cahyono Wibowo, to reporters, Wednesday, June 8.

The one-star general suspected that the corruption case was carried out in the corporate system.
