Ojek Driver In Ilaga Papua Persecuted By OTK, Almost Whole Body Wounds

JAYAPURA - An ojek driver named Just was persecuted by an unknown person (OTK) in Lapar Kibogolome Village, Ilaga District, Puncak Regency, Papua. This case is being handled by the police.

"It's true this afternoon at around 13.25 WIT there was abuse against motorcycle taxi drivers in Kibogolome Village, Ilaga District, Puncak Regency," said Papua Police Head of Public Relations Kombes Ahmad Musthofa Kamal in a written statement, Thursday, June 9.

This incident became known to the police after residents reported abuse at the Lapar Hills of Kibogolome Village. After that, the police rushed to the scene.

"When they got there, the members found the victim and immediately evacuated them to the Ilaga Health Center for treatment," said Kombes Kamal.

"The victim is in critical condition due to stab wounds with sharp objects in almost part of the victim's body, besides that both of the victim's hands were crushed due to being mistreated," he continued.

The Puncak Police are currently investigating the perpetrators of the abuse.

"The perpetrators are still being investigated and information needs to be collected to find out which group is carrying out the persecution," said Kamal.
