TANGERANG - The rampant acts of blocking trucks that are often carried out by minors have become a serious concern for a number of parties. Moreover, in some cases there are fatalities. Sadly, the action was taken to create content on social media.

This phenomenon received a response from the General Chairperson of the Indonesian Child Protection Agency (LPAI) Seto Mulyadi or Kak Seto.

Kak Seto considered that the action was carried out because he wanted to get attention from his family or the environment where he lived. So looking for busyness by creating harmful content.

"It is very worrying, in the sense that communication within the family seems to be decreasing. So these children are not getting attention from their friends and their environment," Seto told VOI, Tuesday, June 7.

"In the end, I made dangerous content. Because I didn't get appreciation from my family and also appreciation from the school environment," he continued.

Therefore, Kak Seto hopes that the local government and the RT/RW should pay more attention to their children. This is done to prevent actions that endanger yourself or others.

This child observer said that there must be a role for the government in order to accommodate achievements such as the availability of facilities that can be used by anyone, regardless of the economic aspect.

"It's like in the old days (Governor) Ali sadikin, in DKI Jakarta used to be a youth arena, where children who could play theatre, sing, dance, do sports, got places. he said.

In addition, Kak Seto suggested that the police and local governments make content competitions to channel their creativity in a more positive direction.

"If necessary, there will be distribution by making content competitions. For example content of skills, environmental skills and other creativity," he concluded.

The act of intercepting trucks again claimed lives. A 14-year-old child with the initials MF died tragically at the crime scene (TKP) while trying to block a truck that was passing on Jalan M Toha, Sangiang Jaya, Periuk, Tangerang City, Tuesday, June 7, at 00:35.

"Yes, that's right, one victim. A resident from Pakuhaji, for the (identity of) the victim (who blocked the truck on Jalan M Toha) MF is 14 years old. For the driver with the initials AM, he is 42 years old," said the Tangerang Metro Police Chief, Kombes Zain Dwi Nugroho when contacted via text message, Tuesday, June 7th.

Meanwhile, Zain said that the Tangerang City Metro Police were still examining a number of witnesses related to the chronology of the accident.

It should be noted that a similar action took place in Tangerang City last week. The truck ambush took place on Jalan Otto Iskandardinata, Gerendeng, Karawaci, Tangerang City, on Friday, June 3 afternoon.

When blocking a truck on Jalan Otto Iskandardinata, the victim with the initial Y (18) did not act alone. However, Y intercepted the truck along with his colleagues at around 11.30 WIB.

However, Y's partner managed to escape before the truck approached. Y who died at the location was then taken to the Tangerang Regency General Hospital (RSUD), Tangerang City.
