Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School In Jombang Prepares To Welcome Vice President Ma'ruf Amin

JOMBANG - The Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School, Jombang Regency, East Java, is preparing to welcome Vice President Ma'ruf Amin, who is scheduled to visit the pesantren on Saturday (4/6).

"According to the schedule, he will go to the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School. We are currently preparing several agendas," said the administrator of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School, Jombang Regency, Abror Rosyidin, quoted by Antara, Friday, June 3.

According to the schedule, the Vice President's entourage went to the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School on Saturday morning. The group headed to "ndalem kasepuhan" at the Jombang Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School. After that, go to the tomb in the pesantren area.

At the tomb, the graves of KH Hasyim Asy'ari, the founder of the Islamic organization Nahdlatul Ulama, KH Wahid Hasyim, a national figure and father of former President KH Abdurrahman "Gus Dur" Wahid.

Besides Gus Dur's tomb, there is also the tomb of KH Sholahudin "Gus Sholah" Wahid, who was Gus Dur's younger brother and was a caregiver for the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School, Jombang, and a number of other families.

At the tomb location, the Vice President will visit the graves of KH Hasyim Asyari, KH Wahid Hasyim, KH Abdurrahman Wahid.

Next, the Vice President headed to the KH Yusuf Hasyim Building on the third floor of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School, attended the halal bihalal and national alumni gathering of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School.

After that, the Vice President went to the hospital. Hasyim Asy'ari, inspecting the location of the hospital.

The vice president then headed to the Mambaul Ma'arif Islamic Boarding School in Denanyar, Jombang Regency, for gathering and visiting the grave of KH Bisri Syansuri.

The group then headed to KHA Wahab Habullah University, during the inauguration of the KHA Wahab Habullah University building. After that, the group prepared to leave the location back to Jakarta.

During the Vice President's visit, 3,257 troops were deployed for security. Troops were dispersed from the route the group passed to the point where the Vice President's entourage visited Jombang.

The Vice President held a working visit in East Java, for three days, from Thursday (2/6) to Saturday (4/6). The intended locations include Lumajang, Surabaya to Jombang.

The vice president has also visited the Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School in Rejoso Village, Peterongan, Jombang, on the second day of a working visit in East Java, Friday.

In addition to performing Friday prayers at the Islamic boarding school by acting as a prayer priest, the Vice President also witnessed the symbolic handing over of studentpreneur assistance from the Head of Baznas to three mustahik representatives.
