Bogor City Government Requires ASN To Wear Clothing From Local MSMEs Every Tuesday, Thursday And Friday

BOGOR - The Bogor City Government (Pemkot) requires state civil servants (ASN) in the local municipal government to wear clothing made by local MSMEs.

The regulation follows the issuance of Mayor's Regulation Number 30 Years. Bogor City ASN must wear clothes made of local products on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays

"Through the Mayor's Regulation, all ASN in Bogor City are required to use local products," said Bogor Mayor Bima Arya Sugiarto in Bogor City, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, May 31.

Bima emphasized that the regulation aims to revive the local community's economy after being hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.

He added that the local clothes that Bogor City ASN must wear are not products that already exist in shopping centers such as malls, but products that are still produced by local MSMEs.

"Yes, we encourage local products. Not from local products that have entered the department store, have entered the mall, no. But really local products," he said.

The PAN politician emphasized that in Perwali Number 30 of 2022, every Tuesday he wears local products, Thursdays he wears traditional Sundanese Pangsi clothes, and on Fridays he wears batik or ethnic clothing.

"If an ASN spends a minimum of IDR 500 thousand, there will be a turnover of IDR 3.5 billion," he said.

So, Bima said, if now until next week all ASN shop for local products with an estimated turnover of up to Rp. 3.5 billion to follow one of the regulations in
