JAKARTA - Rebecca Hill (42) checked into the Adelphi hotel in Liverpool on Friday, October 16, 2020. When she opened the hotel room door, she was frightened and her body was shaking. What is wrong?

He found hay in the corner of the floor, blood on the sheets and empty food and beer cans. He claims he has "never encountered" anything like this 'horror movie' scene before.

Things got worse when he slowly opened the bathroom door to find a tub filled with water with more hay in the corner.

"As soon as I opened the door, I knew something was wrong. It felt strange," Rebecca told the Liverpool Echo, Tuesday, October 20.

“I opened the door and I was confronted with a box on the floor that looked like it had hay in it. To me what looks like rabbit poop to be honest. It is everywhere.

"Empty bottles, empty cans. Food cartons all over the place."

After taking some photos of the dirty room, Rebecca walked down the stairs and was asked by a hotel employee if she was okay.

Rebecca said she had trouble explaining what she saw and "needed a drink" because she was in shock.

"When I explained to him what I saw, I was really shaking because I was so shocked by what I saw. I actually did not believe what I was going to see in person," he said.

"I told him I needed to drink because he could see I was shaking with shock."

Rebecca then spoke to the hotel receptionist who apologized for the state of the room. The receptionist then offered a nicer room, Rebecca accepted.

He then took a walk downtown to cool off and when he returned, the receptionist said he had spoken to the hotel manager.

The manager has set aside a bottle of prosecco (alcoholic drink) for the 42-year-old woman who claims she is still reluctant to stay in the new room.

Rebecca said: "When I came back, the person who prepared my new room said the manager had set aside something for me.

"He then came back with this bottle of prosecco. I said, oh thank you."
