JAKARTA - The masses of the Indonesian Student Executive Board (BEM SI) have gathered in the area of the Arjuna Wiwaha Horse Statue, Central Jakarta. The speech was voiced regarding the performance of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) administration.

"We ensure that the struggle will continue to be sent to the People's Palace. It didn't stop until now. We celebrate with the oath of Indonesian students, "said the Central Coordinator of the BEM SI Alliance, Remy Hastian Putra, Tuesday, October 20.

Orator said that the students who joined the demonstration in a year of Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin's administration did not only come from Jakarta. Students also come from Java and Sumatra.

In his oration, the orator questioned President Jokowi's statement regarding the demonstration against the Omnibus Law on the Job Creation Law because it was consumed by hoaxes on social media.

“The government failed to manage information. The government says hoaxes are hokas. Not only the Ciptaker Law, many problems occur one year in office. "From yesterday's education there was a letter from the Ministry of Education and Culture that demonstrations were not allowed due to a pandemic," said Remy.

The police were alerted to guard the BEM SI demonstration. Also visible were lines of policewomen at the front of the barricade behind barbed wire.
