Crashed By Truck, Mio Motorcycle Passenger Killed By Trailer Tire At CIlincing, Driver Runs Away

JAKARTA - A Yamaha Mio motorbike rider with police number B 3315 UJC was crushed to death after being involved in an accident with a trailer truck on Jalan Raya Cilincing, North Jakarta.

Head of North Jakarta Traffic and Traffic Unit AKP Edy Wibowo said the incident occurred on Monday, May 30, at 05.30 WIB. The victim who died was a passenger of a motorcycle with the initials BN.

"The motorcyclist, AL was not injured. Meanwhile, the passenger, BN, died on the spot after he bounced to the right and was run over," said Edy when confirmed, Monday, May 30.

Edy explained that the incident began when the trailer truck was traveling from the east to the west. However, at the scene (TKP) the vehicle grazed the victim's motorbike and eventually fell.

"(Passengers) BN bounced to the right and was run over," he said.

Knowing that there were victims who died in the incident, the driver chose to flee with the truck he was driving.

"The trailer (truck) with no known registration number left the scene or fled," he concluded.
