JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan lauds the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) as a party full of hope. Anies' statement was conveyed through a politically meaningful rhyme during the 20th PKS anniversary event at Istora Senayan, Jakarta.

In the 2017 DKI Pilkada, Anies won the political contest promoted by PKS. Then, in the 2024 General Election, Anies hopes that the Islamic party can carry it again.

"Habib Salim's bicycle was speeding on the road, Habib Abu Bakar and Bang Syaikhu followed the vehicle. Yesterday with PKS was full of memories, returning with PKS tomorrow is full of hope," said Anies in his rhyme at the location, Sunday, May 29.

This rhyme was rewarded with thunderous applause from the PKS cadres and participants who were present. Anies also seemed to smile brightly at this commotion.

Furthermore, Anies claimed that the performance of the PKS faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, which had supported him while leading DKI, had gone well. Anies also mentioned other parties, namely the PAN and PKB factions.

"We have carried out the mandate carried out by PKS in Jakarta together with the PKS faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD in Jakarta. Thank you for accompanying us, PAN for accompanying us, PKB for joining our journey," said Anies.

Previously, Anies arrived at the event location at around 13.23 WIB. While going to the seat provided for him, Anies greeted PKS officials and guests who were present at the location.

The PKS cadres, who were mostly wearing orange and white clothes inside the building, shouted at Anies with the nickname "president".

Realizing the welcome, Anies gave a greeting gesture to greet the masses present. The greeting from Anies was greeted by a standing ovation by the masses.
