UI Implements New Student Admissions Through The Achievement Path

JAKARTA - The University of Indonesia (UI) has opened a new admissions pathway for students who graduate in 2022 to take part in the UI entrance selection through the achievement pathway.

"This achievement pathway is a new UI student admissions scheme for high school/equivalent graduates who choose a regular undergraduate education program using report cards and achievement certificates," said Head of Public Relations and Public Information Disclosure (KIP) UI Amelita Lusia in a written statement quoted by Antara, Friday. , May 27.

Amelita explained that registration for this achievement pathway has been opened on May 12, 2022 and will end until June 4, 2022 via the https://penerimaan.ui.ac.id/ link.

"There are five fields of achievement that are accepted in the achievement pathway, namely science and technology; health sciences; economics and entrepreneurship; arts, languages, literacy and religion and sports," he said.

Amelita said those who have achievements in science and technology can choose study programs from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), the Faculty of Engineering (FT), and the Faculty of Computer Science (FASILKOM).

Then for those who have achievements in the health sector, they can choose a study program from the Faculty of Medicine (FK), Faculty of Dentistry (FKG), Faculty of Nursing (FIK), Faculty of Pharmacy (FF), and Faculty of Public Health (FKM).

Meanwhile, students who have achievements in economics and entrepreneurship can choose study programs from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) and the Faculty of Administrative Sciences (FIA).

For those who have achievements in the fields of art, language, literacy, and religion, they can have study programs from the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB), Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Faculty of Law (FH), and Faculty of Psychology.

"The type of achievement that will be taken into consideration during the selection process is at least the recipient of a bronze medal or third place in national and international competition championships," said Amel.

According to him, the achievements obtained are achievements received when they were still active high school students/equivalent for the last three years. The championship certificate obtained is required in the conditions for registration.

Another requirement is that the applicant fulfills the health requirements set by the study program.

The registrant uploads a scanned report card (pages of personal data and knowledge scores for semester 1 to semester 5) and a certificate of proof of achievement in the form of a PDF file with a maximum of 2 MB. Registration for the achievement path is free, participants are free of charge.

"For those who have registered, the selection results can be seen on June 24, 2022. After that, in the process, there will be an interview stage by the faculty," said Amelita.
